The Sterling Majesty represents the pinnacle of John's collaboration with Music Man, and shows some truly innovative thinking in guitar design.

Radical Innovation In Guitar Design

The Music Man Majesty came to the public in 2014, and showed the world how far guitar design could be pushed. With the same sleek contours and modern features, the Sterling Majesty now brings these innovations to the masses at an unbelievable price point. The guitar combines extremely ergonomic contours with classic tonewoods, alongside active electronics, to give you an instrument that blends the classic sounds of the JP range with a radically new playing experience.

To live up its modern appearance, the Majesty features a basswood body which is renowned for being a well-rounded and versatile tone wood. The contours allow for an effortlessly comfortable playing experience, whether sat down or stood up. The guitar is inspired by race car design and should give you no barriers in order to maximise your playing experience. It features modern paintwork finishes, also available in Iced Crimson, and a shield design to incorporate John Petrucci's influence.

Easy Access Fingerboard

With 24 medium jumbo frets and a flat 16" radius, this is a guitar provides an easy playing experience across the whole fingerboard. It features a set-neck design which allows the most unrestricted neck access of almost any guitar, and gives the appearance of a seamless blend from guitar body into the neck, providing the ultimate comfort for the left hand. The 25-1/2" scale length with the supplied .010-.046 gauge strings allows for easy string bends and an authoritative tone.

Active Electronics Designed For Versatility

The Majesty features Sterling by Music Man designed humbucking pickups and a 3-way switching system. It also includes a preamp circuit, activated on the volume control, which allows you to effortlessly increase the output of the guitar at the push of a button for solos. This combination ensures that, just like John Petrucci himself, you will be able to achieve a wide variety of tones whether that be distorted riffing, liquid smooth soloing, or crystal clean picking.

Hardware Made For Reliable Performance

The Majesty features a Sterling by Music Man designed "Modern Tremolo" and is built to provide smooth operation and an excellent ability to return to pitch after use. The guitar is also provided with locking machine heads for quick string changes and reliable tuning. These features will ensure accurate intonation and, alongside an easily adjusted truss rod, guarantee that the guitar will stand up to the rigours of gigging and rehearsing.
