The Tanglewood DBT F OV features a stunning spruce top that offers a broad dynamic range, versatility, crisp articulation, and accommodates numerous playing techniques with ease. The wood itself is quite elastic in nature, which resonates well whilst remaining strong, and provides a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm midi-range, and bright singing highs. Its spruce top is contrasted beautifully by ovangkol back and sides that produce a deep, defined low response with a punchy and powerful high response. Ovangkol originates from West Africa and has a unique appearance with a smooth golden grain, offering a stunning look to match its superb tone.

Mahogany Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that offers a warm, bright, sparkly tone that really shines through when playing finger-picking techniques. Rosewood fingerboards also offers a smooth and energetic play. The neck is finished in natural open pore satin for a sleek, smooth, and stunning appearance.
