The Heritage Grand Auditorium features a stunning engelmann spruce top, which sonically offers a mature tone that can be found on many of the high-quality older guitars. Engelmann spruce yields a slightly richer tone than sitka spruce, providing sweet singing harmonics, and long lasting sustain. Spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops as it generates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive strumming to finger-picking. This stunning tonewood is contrasted with solid rosewood back and sides, providing the Heritage with bright attack and sparkly sizzle. Rosewood is a versatile tonewood that offers a wide range of possibilities and is an ideal choice for blues styled players, as it delivers a full low end with a bright treble, and clear articulation.

Mahogany Neck Topped With Ebony Fingerboard

The Heritage Grand Auditorium neck is crafted from mahogany because the wood responds greatly to picking, strumming, and various finger techniques with equal ease. In addition to its superb tone, the Heritage features a one-piece volute neck construction, this provides a reinforced structure the neck, offering durability and stability. The mahogany neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard that provides a very responsive bright, snappy, crisp attack, coupled with a smooth sustain and bright top-end.

Fishman Presys Blend

The Heritage Grand Auditorium comes equipped with a Fishman Presys Blend preamp, providing an on-board preamp with built-in tuner for precise, easy tuning, and personal tone control. The compact system features volume, bass, mid, treble, notch, and mic blend rotary controls. In addition to these features the Presys Blend has a phase switch, and easy-read bright LED screen for tuning purposes. Presys preamps also include a pre-wired Fishman Sonicore pickup for solder-free, plug and play installation. Featuring a unique pivot design for easy access to the battery compartment.
