Taylor have refined the classic Dreadnought shape to suit their own needs, producing low-end power, a snappy midrange, and strong, clear treble notes. Whilst still offering the powerful tones that you would normally get from a dreadnought, the redesigned take provides the essence of the balanced Taylor sound. With a blend of power and articulation, this dreadnought acoustic is perfect for flatpickers as well as players who love the traditional guitar shape and tones.

Sitka Spruce & Layered Rosewood

The Taylor 210 Deluxe Dreadnought features a beautiful sitka spruce top and offers a broad dynamic range and yielding crisp articulation. Sitka spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops as it generates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking. This stunning tonewood is contrasted with a layered rosewood back and sides, providing the Taylor with a throaty growl. Rosewood is a versatile tonewood that offers a wide range of possibilities and is an ideal choice for blues and bluegrass players, as it delivers a full low end with a bright treble, and clear articulation.

Unique Bracing Pattern

A significant factor behind the incredible sound of the 210 DLX Dreadnought is the forward shifted bracing pattern, which allows the tonewoods to vibrate naturally, creating incredible depth and complexity. The 'x' in the bracing pattern is moved closer to the soundhole, enabling more of the guitar top to vibrate, delivering maximum tonal quality and projection.
