Double Channel Fun

The AGA150 and the others in its series are great for acoustic performers and this amp in particular leads the VOX Acoustic Guitar Amplifiers series. They're designed to perfectly project the subtle resonances and sweet, mellow tones of an acoustic instrument. Both the Normal and Tube Pre have a standard guitar input each, along with a microphone input with selectable phantom power. You can connect an electro-acoustic guitar or mic to each channel, which makes this amp great for singer-instrumentalists. There's also an additional Lo-Z / Hi-Z switch on each input to accommodate a variety of signal levels.

12AU7 Vacuum Tube Preamp

The Tube Pre channel preamp features a 12AU7 (ECC82) dual-triode vacuum tube, imparting your guitar or vocal sound with the roundness and warmth which is distinctive of the vacuum tube sound.

Customise your sound even further with the Colour Function and On-Board Effects

Along with Bass, Middle, and Treble tone controls, each channel has a Colour control. This works in harmony with the traditional EQ, and it lets you quickly shift the tonal response to your what you want. This allows for a range from thick and robust to sparkling and clean. Choose the perfect setting for any performance technique, whether it's rapid-fire arpeggios or solid strumming. Each channel also boasts effects. It has a selectable Chorus effect via a switch and a Reverb knob.

Many Connectivity Possibilities

The AGA150 has stereo line inputs which works for keyboards or other musical instruments, even a multi-track recorder. You can connect an Mp3 player of other audio source via the AUX input and have something to play along to from it. The DI (balanced XLR) output gives a convenient way to send your sound to a larger PA system without the need of a direct box, whilst still allowing the AGA150 to control your mix.

The Tuner output is always active, even when the main output is muted for silent tuning between songs and sets. The Anti-Feedback control minimises acoustic feedback, so it works great as a stage monitor.

You can also get an optional VFS2 Footswitch on Gear4music, which gives you footswitch control of the Effect Bypass or All Mute functions, for great flexibility whilst playing live. The AGA150 also comes with a power cord.
