The NU1 delivers an authentic playing experience that is almost indistinguishable from that of an acoustic piano. With the same action and natural wood keys as used in Yamaha's finest upright pianos, the NU1 offers a realistic feel that is sure to inspire.

The NU1 also features a damper pedal that allows you to use half-pedal techniques, as well as having more control over sustain and reverberation. This pedal recreates the subtle changes in resistance that you might experience whilst using a grand piano pedal, and adds to the feel of a real piano.

The NU1 features sound carefully sampled from one of the finest instruments that Yamaha has ever made - the CFX full concert grand piano. To complement its sparkling highs and full-bodied bass, the NU1 utilises newly-developed acoustic technology unique to Yamaha to reproduce the characteristic resonance felt when playing an acoustic piano.

The simplicity of the NU1 blends effortlessly into any setting, adding an air of elegance. With its compact design, it can be easily placed in any location whether on stage on at home. The upright design allows it to be placed against a wall for ease of use. The dark wood beautifully contrasts to the white keytops, and gives it that traditional look .

USB Recording Capability

The NU1 is cleverly equipped with a UBS audio recorder, that allows you to improve you technique, monitor your progress, and share with others. Simply record your tracks to the USB memory (up to 550KB), or to a memory stick and load onto a CD via laptop/computer. This function also allows you to share your music online via social media platforms, and really broadcast your ideas.

Delivery Options

Standard Courier Delivery

When you add this product to your shopping basket, you will be provided with our standard courier delivery option. This will deliver the piano to the ground floor of your house or building. Please note that if there is not a ground floor entrance we may not be able to deliver there. You may also need to help the delivery driver as this product comes packaged in large boxes.

This option may not be suitable if you are unable to help the driver if required, or if you need the piano delivering upstairs. Please consider whether this is the most appropriate delivery service for you, as other delivery options are available at an additional cost.

2 Man Delivery Service

If you select this option, two delivery personnel will deliver the piano boxes to any ground floor room of your choice, rather than just your front door. Please note that this service will take a few days longer than the standard courier service and the courier company will call you to arrange a convenient delivery date after you have placed the order.
