The DMT Design Humbuckers are perfect for a range of playing styles and music genres. They particularly excel when used for hard rock.

Basswood Body

The Dean Icon X features a basswood body, making this guitar lightweight. The wood produces a thick and dynamic tone with good balance and power. It also offers a light and comfortable playing experience, and a bright sound that has plenty of twang. The basswood's sound is fat, with excellent levels of sustain. The basswood is topped with flame maple, which gives it a stunning and eye catching appearance.

Maple Neck With Jatoba Fingerboard

The smooth maple neck offers an incredibly bright tone with plenty of twang; as well as excellent definition. The maple enhances the crispness of the basswood body, and has a sharp top end for a bass tone with excellent depth. Additionally, the C shaped maple neck provides a smooth playability with a bright and punchy tone. The neck also provides a comfortable playing experience, and easy navigation of the jatoba fingerboard. The jatoba fingerboard brings an earthy tone, as well as offering added amounts of projection.
