The solid alder body creates a balanced tone with a wide frequency response and great dynamic range. The alder wings surround a maple neck block that extends through the whole length of the guitar, providing exceptional sustain and resonance. The neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard which is a dense tonewood and gives enhanced note articulation for precise riffing and saturated solos.
The ESP E-II M-II is honed towards an exceptionally smooth playing experience with no barriers to high-octane performances. The neck-thru design creates a neck joint that simply disappears under your left hand as you traverse the fingerboard. The double cutaway creates no barriers at the top of the neck, while the thin "U" neck profile, 305mm radius, and extra jumbo frets combine to create a fast-feeling neck with enhanced string control. This guitar is designed to enable the most complex of playing techniques and musical styles.
The ESP E-II M-II wields a pair of powerful EMG 81 humbucking pickups, providing a punchy and thick tonality in the bridge position and a warm, liquid smooth tone in the neck position. Constructed from close aperture coils and featuring ceramic magnets, the iconic EMG 81 humbucking pickups provide advanced detail and a truly meaty tone. EMG pickups are favoured by many professional musicians due to their unbeatable tone, active circuitry, high output, and low noise.
For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of floating, locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose Original locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolos, the Floyd Rose bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning by addition of the locking nut at the end of the headstock.
The guitar is finished off with high-end hardware to ensure players receive the most professional playing experience possible. The Gotoh locking tuners improve tuning stability and reduce string slippage, while the Schaller straplocks protect against accidental strap release, ensuring players can deliver a powerful performance without worrying about dropping their guitar.
