ESP LTD AP-204, Natural Satin Overview

The ESP LTD AP-204 Bass Guitar offers a stunning appearance and a versatile sound at a more accessible price compared to other ESP models. The AP-204 is a new addition to the AP series for Namm 2018, featuring its new, 'CITES Free' jatoba fingerboard. The maple neck offers a bright and twangy tone, which is accompanied by a roasted jatoba fingerboard that brings defined attack and plenty of projection. The AP-204 is crafted with a mahogany body, which has a rich and resonant sound, ideal for punchy rock music. The LTD AP-204 Bass Guitar features a pair of ESP Designed pickups in the neck and bridge position, which produce sharp highs with deep lows, for the classic bass sound. Finally, the ESP LTD AP-204 is finished with a smooth, natural satin for that classic rock look.

ESP Designed Pickups

The AP-204 is equipped with a pair of versatile ESP Designed Pickups that can accommodate a variety of playing styles. These include an LDP at the neck and an LDJ at the bridge, which produce sharp and distinct highs, with a deep low-end tone.

Crafted With a Mahogany Body

Mahogany is a fairly dense tonewood which creates a warm and rich tone with excellent depth. It also offers durability and a tone which will mature over the years, making this guitar a long lasting companion. The AP body shape features a double cutaway for easy access to the higher frets and a curvaceous body for comfortable play.

Maple Neck Coupled With Jatoba Fingerboard

The AP-204 features a maple neck, that offers an incredibly comfortable and smooth feel when navigating the fingerboard. The maple neck produces bright tones with good clarity, and it is paired with a roasted jatoba fingerboard which brings an earthy tone, as well as offering added amounts of projection. The jatoba fingerboard adds even brighter attack, which complements the maple well.
