View Full DescriptionThe AJ-220SCE has a focused and balanced tone thanks to its larger lower bout and smaller, round upper bout. Deep, rich and loud bass tones combine with crisp, brilliant, cutting highs, and the clear mid-range is never muddy like a square-shouldered dreadnought. The sound blends well with vocals, making it perfect for the soloist or singer/songwriter.
This Epiphone guitar is made from premium materials with traditional construction methods. The solid Sitka spruce top not only sounds great right out of the box but also improves with age and playing time, while the solid mahogany neck has a smooth, fast satin finish that's easy to play.
The state-of-the-art Shadow Performer Tuner™ preamp has a host of professional features, including a built-in Chromatic Tuner, Master Volume, Bass and Treble EQ and a Phase switch to help eliminate unwanted feedback. Under the saddle is the Shadow NanoFlex™ low-impedance pickup, with integrated active electronics that pick up not only string vibrations but top and body vibrations as well for a truly acoustic tone.
