The Fender American Original '60s Strat comes equipped with 3 Pure Vintage '65 single-coil pickups which enables the American Original to deliver its authentic yet clear and articulate voice of the 60s. These powerfully-vintage pickups are wax-potted and designed to be as period-correct as possible from its enamel-coated coil wire to the cloth-covered output wires, fibre bobbins, and alnico 5 magnets. The vintage-inspired construction adds more focus and enhances the dynamic content whilst delivering warm, vintage-styled tonal characteristics. In addition, the pickup's staggered pole-pieces balances the volume and output across each string.
