Experience a perfect blend of warmth and definition that set the tone for the 60s music scene. Their taller coils and magnets make it simpler than ever to characterise your midrange, whilst maintaining crisp articulation throughout. So, whether you’re producing twinkling cleans, or gritty overdriven tones - you can count on the American Pro Jazzmaster to give you a remarkably enhanced sound in every performance.
Make it your own. The American Pro Jazzmaster features a 3-way pickup selector and master tone and volume controls to personalise your sound with unparalleled accuracy. Dial in the exact tone you wish, and showcase your individuality on stage. Simple. What’s more is that the volume control features a treble bleed circuit. The Jazzmaster is no stranger to an enhanced performance. It flaunts playability in its nature. The iconic offset body not only looks stunning, but it’s ergonomic too. Sculpted for extreme comfort, the American Jazzmaster guarantees an incredible feel in any environment. Standing or sitting.
Furthermore, a modern ‘Deep C’ neck profile entails a tailored fit in the palm of your hand. So, your hand will glide up and down the entirety of the guitar’s scale in effortless fashion. This, combined with a sleek rosewood fretboard, is what gives the Jazzmaster its distinct feel, and impeccable playability.
Spark your creativity. Every time you step on stage. The American Pro Jazzmaster comes equipped with a classic floating tremolo system. Characterised by its vintage style, the Jazzmaster tremolo bridge gifts players with a truly expressive performance. Whether you choose to experiment your soloing to its limits, or simply add a little jangle to your elegant playing – Fender know how to decorate your sound with that extra finesse. And, thanks to effortless vibrato-playing, you can colour your tone, your way - with total freedom.
The American Pro Jazzmaster also includes an elite moulded case, featuring body-hugging contours to firmly hold the guitar in place. TSA latches are also included for enhanced security, and easy access. This durable case also features a stacking ability, for easy storage and transport.
First introduced at the 1958 NAMM Show with a great deal of chrome and controls, the Jazzmaster was originally designed for traditional jazz musicians. However, it soon found itself embraced by reverb-drenched surf guitarists in the '60s, lip-curling punks in the '70s, and legions of alt-indie from the late '80s onward.
Fender's first dual-circuit instrument - the Jazzmaster provided a new level of versatility. While the traditional wide and flat pickups produced a broad tonality, with less bite and a subtler attack than most single-coil pickups. A first choice among players worldwide, there is nothing that can come close to the natural comfort, remarkable tonal versatility, and distinct character the Jazzmaster guitar offers.
