The Fender American Standard Stratocaster is a classic guitar that now features some functional and aesthetic upgrades including aged pickup and control knobs covers as well as Custom Shop Fat '50s pickups. This American Standard strat has a light urethane finish which allows the body wood of the guitar to resonate more than those with a thicker coat of lacquer which means that the instrument has increased sustain and a full bodied tone. Another subtle but effective addition to the guitar is it's hand-rolled fingerboard edges which create smooth playability over the maple fingerboard that have 22 medium jumbo frets.
