Made in the Fender USA guitarworks, you're guaranteed outstanding quality on every model. And with each detail accurately recreating the year the guitar is from, it's almost as if you're buying an instrument from the past!

A completely authentic playability

We can reel off lists of components all day to convince you that the '61 Strat is accurate, but nothing compares to the actual feel of a guitar. And once you've held the classic medium "C" shaped neck on this Strat, you'll be totally convinced. It's eminently comfortable and presents a stunning vintage vibe thanks to its gloss nitro lacquer.

That's joined by a slab rosewood fretboard which serves up a chunky, retro feel. It's curved in a 7.25" radius for true retro playability, in addition to hosting 21 vintage tall sized frets for a precise action over the scales.

Step back into the sixties. Featuring a trio of Pure Vintage '61 Single Coil Strat pickups, the American Vintage II produces a stunningly accurate tone. Built using period materials and configured to '60s standards, they're not only bright, but also full of chime and articulation.
