The Vintage Hot Rod Jazz Bass from Fender is crafted with a premium alder body and a U-shaped maple neck that includes Posiflex graphite support rods, and vintage-style heel-end truss rod adjustment. Also featured is a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets, bone nut and white pearloid block inlays.
Strong Bass Tones
Powerful and versatile tone comes from an American Vintage '63 split single-coil Precision Bass middle pickup and a '74 Jazz Bass single-coil bridge pickup. Each pickup has a dedicated vintage style volume control, while additional tweaking can be achieved with a master tone knob.
Quality features also include a three-ply white pickguard, Fender Hi-Mass bridge, vintage style tuners with tapered shafts, stealth ''A'' string retainer on headstock, locking strap buttons and engraved Vintage Hot Rod neck plate. Complete with a Candy Apple Red gloss finish and vintage-style black case.
