Constructed from an all Maple body the Artstar AS153B produces a focused tone with an impressive sustain and character. With clear and defined upper middle and sparkling highs the Maple body is ideal for chiming chords and super bright lead patterns and also delivers a balanced low response.
Super 58 Pick-Ups
The Super 58 Pick-Ups incorporated into the AS153B are custom designed humbucker pickups designed to deliver a high output tone whilst retaining the sparkle and warmth suited for the jazz/blues playing style.
Three-Piece Set-In Mahogany Neck
The Artstar neck profile is thinner than traditional neck styles, resulting in a more comfortable and fluid playing style.
ART-1 Bridge
The ART-1 Bridge found on the AS153B is paired with the Quik Change II tailpiece to create an exceptional combination that results in precise upheld intonation. This combination of components lets you change strings quickly and with ease, meaning you spend less time preparing your guitar, especially after extended periods of use.
