Efficient playability

Working to fit your hand like a glove, Ibanez have sculpted the instrument to offer the peak of comfort to ensure that every time you perform you are completely unhindered, and your abilities are maximised. A bound panga panga fretboard ensures a cushioned collision on every fret, so that every time you create rumble of raucous sounds you can do so with complete comfort. The five-piece maple and walnut neck guarantees strength and durability, whilst delivering a strong and capable grasp for complete control of the bass.

Five string construction

Bringing you a whole new tonal range to explore, the BTB805MS’s 5 string design allows you to fill out your basslines with an extra level of percussive boom, adding full definition to your robust sound. Utilising a mixture of poplar burl, okoume and ash wings in the construction, the bass is built to offer complete coverage in every frequency for a blissful sonic experience. Tuning is also optimised with a MR5S bridge and Ibanez machine heads, all of which ensure complete accuracy in every pluck.
