Pair of Infinity R Humbuckers

The PS60 is loaded with a pair of passive ceramic Infinity R Humbuckers designed to give solid rock tones. Humbuckers are designed to cancel out extraneous noise so you can be sure that, when playing through cranked amplifiers, the guitar will remain free from hum and buzz. The Infinity R Pickups offer a wide array of tones, from crystal clear notes to gritty lows and crushing highs. The combination of the two humbuckers deliver incredibly thick, punchy tones with plenty of clarity and dynamics. Achieving the perfect pickup combination is easy with the 3-way blade, volume control, and tone control.

Poplar Body

The PS60's body is crafted from lightweight poplar, which provides a high frequency response, as well as an overall light tone with sparkling highs. Poplar is a soft tonewood and therefore offers a mellowed tone with some warmer lows.

Maple Neck Paired With Treated New Zealand Pine Fingerboard

The neck’s maple construction provides beautifully bright characteristics, creating a snappy attack in the midrange with a sparkling high end. The fingerboard is crafted from bound, treated New Zealand pine, which provides a smooth performance and a broad dynamic range. The treated condition of the pine helps bring out its natural fundamentals while enhancing its lifespan. It’s bound edges also allow for a smooth play and fluid hand flexibility across the whole neck.

Paul Stanley (AKA "Starchild") is the guitarist and vocalist for the iconic rock band "Kiss". Over his 30 years playing for the band, Paul Stanley has become an extremely renowned guitar player and songwriter having written charting songs such as "Love Gun" and "Detriot Rock City". Paul has played a huge array of guitars over the years, although his Ibanez 'Iceman' models are instantly recognisable. The Ibanez Signature PS60 is a new addition to add his growing collection.
