Ibanez RG Performance

The Ibanez RG ('Rock Guitar') features a deep double cutaway, alongside smooth body contouring and low-profile neck joint to allow easy access to all 24 frets for the ultimate playing experience, designed especially for 'shred' and highly technical styles of music. The RG927WBBZ includes the wizard neck profile and a satin finished neck for smooth and fast transitions, along with increased resonance and sustain. 24 frets are mounted on a flat 400mm radius fingerboard for excellent purchase on the strings, with the Premium Fret-Edge treatment giving a liquid-smooth feel for bends and vibrato.

Dimarzio Pickups

The RG927WBBZ features Dimarzio IBZ humbucking pickups with a 5-way switching system, delivering great versatility and range of accessible tones, from crisp cleans all the way through to high output saturation. They complement the basswood body, which is a versatile and well-rounded tonewood, alongside providing a light weight playing feel. This guitar will cover all bases from low-end heavy riffing through to liquid smooth soloing, and even clean up nicely to provide well-rounded shimmering clean chordal sounds.

High Performance Hardware

To match the technical styles of music that this guitar was designed for, the RG927WBBZ's 5 piece neck is extremely stable. A double locking Edge Zero II tremolo system provides access to extreme whammy bar effects, safe in the knowledge that your strings will return accurately to pitch after use. A tool-less spring tension adjust wheel on the back of the guitar allows for simple set up, while the tremolo features fine-tuners and intonation adjustment screws for a reliable performance.
