Lightweight Mahogany Body

The Ibanez Prestige features a lightweight mahogany body with elegant contours and a smooth design, creating an incredibly comfortable instrument with sweet warm tonal characteristics. As well as appearance, the Ibanez also features a double-cutaway body shape which allows easier access to the higher frets to deliver incredible flexibility across the entire fingerboard.

Slim & Smooth Wizard-7 Neck

Ibanez's Wizard-7 profile offers an incredibly slim and durable design, delivering excellent playability and optimised for lead guitarists. The thin nature of this neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly, whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords. Crafted from 5-piece maple and wenge, the guitar's neck provides iron-like strength for enhanced neck stability and a strong sustain.

Thundering V77/V87 Custom Pickups

Equipped with a set of powerful V87 and V77 humbuckers, the Ibanez RG Series Guitar can produce incredible destructive tones with plenty of presence in the lows end. The two custom humbuckers were designed to capture more low end than standard pickups, featuring an incredibly wide tonal range to deliver rich, harmonic tones. While the V87 provides plenty of clarity for searing notes, the V77 provides a smoother, dynamic tone with a warm midrange for creating powerful chords and riffs. Although perfect for down tuned guitars, the 2 pickups are extremely versatile and suit a wide variety of playing styles.

Edge Zero Tremolo

The Ibanez Edge Zero is a high performance double locking tremolo first introduced in 2010, featuring similarities with both the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo and the original Floyd Rose Tremolo. This design created a unique and extremely versatile floating tremolo system which provides an added range of playing capabilities and improved tuning stability.

Barless Top-Lok Nut

The Barless Top-Lok Nut is yet another innovative feature from Ibanez which eliminates the need for a retainer bar to maintain string tension. Through its simple design and careful injection moulding production process, it holds the strings at the correct angle whilst remaining smooth and ergonomic.
