The Ibanez RGIM7MH is designed for metal, offering effortless speedy playability and a chunky, warm tone. It features a super-slim, ultra-comfortable Nitro Wizard Multi Scale neck that sits comfortably in your hand, and also provides solid stability for the extra strings. The mono-rail bridge offers superior string-to-string isolation so that each string vibrates optimally without being affected by each other.

Multi-Scale Frets Provide Comfort, Tension & Tone

The multi-scale frets are aimed at down-tuned and technical playing. The equalised tension helps to create a more 'alive', open tone, whilst also providing comfort. Its construction ergonomically coordinates with the way your hand angles when it moves up and down the neck of the guitar. The increased tension of the multi-scale frets improves your overall tone.

Mahogany Body

The guitar features a dark weathered black finish. With a body constructed from mahogany, the guitar produces tones that are exceptionally balanced and offer plenty of depth. The fretboard offers a 400mmR radius, which sits comfortably in your hand and allows for smooth position shifting.

Powerful EMG Pickups

The Ibanez RGIM7MH is equipped with EMG 808 pickups that have been designed for a multi-scale construction instrument. They offer a quick response, and a super-tight growl with an incredible down-tuned beefy punch that cuts through the mix. The EMG pickups give you the tone, presence and dynamics needed for a 7 string guitar, eliminating the problem of the muddy low-tuned strings.
