Featured on the SR2600 is a set of single-coil “Big Single” pickups, which deliver a full-bodied and aggressive tone, whilst still maintaining its clarity for the ultimate performance. These pickups have been designed with the biggest coils they could fit within the soapbar cover. Thanks to this design, the Big Singles produce an incredibly huge and loud sound for the perfect jazz bass tone.
Another incredible feature of this model is its three-band EQ with a bypass switch, letting you shape and craft the tone of your guitar with maximum control. Effortlessly tweak the treble, mid, and bass to change every nuance of your sound to find the perfect style for your performance. With the bypass switch, you can switch between the original and affected tone. Experiment with a range of tonal possibilities.
The SR2600 has been designed with poplar burl and lightweight mahogany, topped with a striking cerulean blue burst. Its poplar burl delivers a sonically pleasing rounded bottom-end, whilst its paired mahogany adds a warm and full low-end.
Complementing the stunning body has been designed with an atlas-4 15-piece neck and titanium rods. The combination of materials is panga panga, maple, padauk, purpleheart, and walnut, all of which create a unique and sonically pleasing tonal character as well as stability. The addition of the titanium reinforcement rods help the neck maintain its original shape. Furthermore, this model has been sculpted with a panga panga fingerboard, which is sustainable and adds a warmth and resonance to the overall tone.
