The Ibanez SR370EF features a strong maple body coupled with a smooth 5-piece maple and walnut neck, offering wonderfully bright tones alongside a highly comfortable playing experience. The addition of a jatoba fretless fingerboard enhances the overall dynamics, while the white dot inlays and fret markers provide an effortless intonation. The SR Series Bass also features an Accu-cast B120 bridge, providing excellent string stability and articulation.

Fretless design

The Ibanez SR’s fretless design provides a unique tone that fretted versions can’t achieve. By removing the frets, the strings can vibrate more freely and interact directly with the jatoba fingerboard. This setup also offers players a naturally smooth slide and a double-bass style vibrato and microtonal intonations. While the fretless bass is used mainly in jazz and funk since it offers a similar feel and tone as an acoustic double bass, it can work well in a wide variety of musical styles.

This Ibanez Bass features a set of PowerSpan dual coil pickups, designed with exposed stainless-steel pole pieces to deliver a high output with exceptional clarity. Also delivered by these pickups is an enhanced response and a strong signal, creating a tone rich with harmonics and dynamic expression without losing its thick and full-bodied low end.

One of the most unique features of this 4-string bass guitar is the 3-band EQ with a 3-way power tape switch. This design allows you to shape and craft the tone of your bass with maximum control, letting you mould every nuance of your sound. The 3-way power tap switch offers you three different tones, from humbucking voicings and single coil notes, to a low-end enhanced single coil option, creating an incredibly versatile instrument that will keep up with any playing style.
