The Jackson DKA8 Dinky incorporates a string-thru body to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the tailpiece and passes through the body.

Also featuring an extremely useful and unique momentary killswitch in the electronic circuit the DKA8 delivers the ability to add a chopping style effect used by the likes of Eddie Van Halen by simply pressing the installed button next to the volume and tone controls in various patterns to create a range of staccato style effects.

The incorporation of a four top, four bottom machine head headstock pattern helps to reduce ambient sympathetic vibrations by allowing less room between the string nut and machine heads to deliver a pure and charismatic tone.

Utilizing a pair of high output, ceramic DiMarzio D Activator 8 humbucking pickups the Jackson DKA8 produces a powerful and focused bass response whilst the warm high frequency response and extended harmonic overtone provides a crisp, articulate and dynamic tone.
