Compound Radius Fingerboard

The King V guitar features Jackson's unique and innovative compound-radius fingerboard design, in which the fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This design provides a smooth playability for both chords and riffs whilst the flattened heel allows sensational accessibility and speedy at the high register, perfect for both lead and rhythm players.

Classic Jackson Headstock

The angled headstock featured on this Pro Series King V guitar is carefully angled at 17 degrees, increasing the pressure on the strings and helping them to stay in the nut slots. In addition, an increase in string pressure also means there is no loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners, which equals better sustain and an overall smooth play.

Seymour Duncan Humbuckers

For that signature metal tone, the King V KVT is powered by a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers including a JB on the bridge, and a '59 on the neck. Both pickups deliver a powerful punch that is sure to cut through any mix, along with clarity and definition. Achieving the optimum sound is easy with control options for Volume and Tone, along with a three-position toggle switch.
