Thrash your way to greatness. Scott Ian's signature guitar, the Jackson Scott Ian KVXT, is an embodiment of the thrashy, super heavy music created by this guitar legend. The maple neck has a gloss finish which will give you all the manoeuvrability you need to shred your way along the fretboard. As such, you'll be able to create your own insanely thrashy riffs with ease, which will be boosted by the laurel fretboard's bright resonance as well as the sustain from the neck through design. This guitar has the power of a turbo jet and the sound of a guitar legend, and will take you to thrash heaven.

He's a big part of metal. Scott Ian has been developing his thrash craft from an early age, and he's been incredibly influential on the metal scene as a result. His ultra fast riffs have been inspiring other guitarists around the world for decades, and will no doubt continue to do so for many years to come. As such, his signature guitar offers the modern guitarist everything they need to create some thrash based, heavy music mayhem.
Engineered for heaviness. Duncan Designed pickups in the neck and bridge offer a powerful, hard hitting tone which screams with harmonics and aggression. You 'll be able to make each note count as you create a fiery blaze of crisp high gain sounds, which will cut through any mix with ease. In the bridge position sits a HB-103B, which is capable of steering your tone towards fat, mids focussed carnage. The level of searing bite it induces in your tone is outstanding, and perfect for bringing heaviness to your music. The HB-103N in the neck position is also effective at creating saturated lead tone, offering a more balanced, yet powerful, response to the notes you play. As such, you'll find that these pickups have more than enough tonal range to give you a huge sound.
Speed. Thrash metal demands some of the fastest playing and intense use of each part of the guitar. Scott Ian's guitars may well have seen some serious abuse over the years from his playing, but his signature will hold up without question. Being in the classic King V shape, it feels comfortable in your arms, whilst striking an imposing image. It has a solid, one piece maple neck which has a gloss finish, and with this you'll be able to thrash along each fret with ease. A laurel fretboard also adds some brightness and sustain to the guitar's tone, whilst allowing your fingers to comfortably reach every note on the guitar. As such, you'll find that you can play as fast and heavy as you like, bringing Scott Ian levels of aggression and thrashy sounds to your music.
It's roadworthy. Scott Ian's signature was built to take on tour, and it is loaded with quality features for an unrivalled performance. The Jackson TOM-style adjustable bridge with anchored tailpiece not only holds your tuning, but also gives your hand a comfortable place to settle when you're chugging/shredding away. A black plastic nut blends in with the black headstock whilst supporting the strings, and Jackson sealed die-cast tuners allow for quick and easy tuning. Coming in a candy apple red finish, Scot Ian's signature guitar has plenty of character, and it could be your weapon to rule the world of thrash.
