The Laney Cub Valve Experience

The Laney CUB212R 15W Tube 2x12 Combo Amp offers the same functionality as the highly popular Cub12R, but with an added 12" driver to provide even more tonal spread and projection and give you a more commanding sound, whether that be on stage or in the rehearsal room. It provides this functionality in a highly portable package which is easily transported to and from the gig, offering you real valve tone and experience at a very reasonable price point.

Single Channel Valve Power

The Laney Cub212R features a single channel with drive and volume controls alongside a 3-band EQ to sculpt your tone and overdrive levels to exactly how you require. A master tone control provides the final touch, giving you the ability to match the overall amp tonality to the room you are playing in. By using the 1 watt input, the same tone is achievable but at a much reduced volume level, meaning that you can crank the master volume to drive the power-section hard without upsetting the neighbours. This gives you real valve tone at sensible volumes with no sacrifice in tone, allowing you to use the Cube212R for quiet practice at home, then take that same tone onto the stage at a much greater volume.

Reverb And FX Loop

The Cub212R features an in-built digital reverb to give your tone a sympathetic ambience. The FX loop enables you to insert external time and modulation-based effects after the preamp, to create sounds with even more depth. The single channel nature of this amp means it will be an ideal candidate for using external effects pedals, and the FX loop will ensure that you have the perfect capability to do so.
