Key Features
Product Ref: 311608
This Marshall may be small, but it still packs a wide range of features. Thanks to its 1W volume output, this model is perfect for small gigs and home use. Despite its low wattage, this combo can be surprisingly loud when that volume is provided by valves. Effortlessly keep up with the drummer and ensure you’re heard during band rehearsals and gigs. It also comes with adjustable power levels, allowing you to achieve a quieter volume with no loss in valve tone. This is ideal for practice at home, where you may be limited in volume, but you still require the real feel of tubes.
Set up both classic and ultra-gain tones with Marshall’s two channels. Each of these come with their own independent gain and volume controls, allowing you to get the perfect balance between overdrive level and volume. Craft the ideal range of levels. From crystal clean through to the edge-f-breakup and onto full-on saturation. The DSL1CR has a 3-band EQ for full tone sculpting and a reverb control to add a sympathetic ambience. The tone is generated by real valves, so you can be sure you’ll be getting real saturation and organic responses. The sound is focussed through a Celestion Eight-15 8” speaker that gives the perfect balance between portability and projection.
Marshall have paired with software developers Softube in order to create the DSL range. It comes incorporated with classic Softube emulation technology. Thanks to this, you can directly connect to the amplifier and send out the sound of a professionally mic’d 196- Marshall cabinet. Its signal can be used to send your tone directly to a mixing desk for a no-fuss and consistently great sound.
