This 20-watt powerhouse is great for playing in smaller venues, at homes, or laying down tracks in the modern music studio. Featuring plenty of controls to get the exact tone you crave, the Marshall SV20H is a distillation of nearly six decades of amplification innovation.
Studio prowess
Natural and rich guitar recording. This is a 20W amp. It contains enough power to give you a great sound inside small to medium venues. However, the beauty of the SV20H lies in its reduction switch. This allows you to lower your watt level from 20 to 5W.
By decreasing the power, the crunchy Marshall tones are yours to enjoy. Allowing you to play with overdriven tones without cranking the volume to uncomfortable levels. Ideal for when you're recording in the studio.
It's all in the amps
For the gear heads. Marshall has committed themselves to design the best possible sound in a compact and portable amplifier. This tube amp features a total of five tubes. Three on the preamp and two on the power amp. The three ECC83 the two EL34s provide the amplifier with its unique and great sounding tone.
The ECC83 is a high impedance amplifier triode meaning you can push a lot of power through it. Giving you plenty of room for dialling in that crunch. The EL34 is a power pentode tube, meaning it can handle a lot of power, the ideal tube for this stage of the amplification.
