Vertical Arrangement

The PPC212V Vertical Open Back Cabinet is the first vertical arrangement cabinet from Orange. It is designed to provide the signature "Orange Sound" in a lightweight and portable 2x12 cabinet. The vertical arrangement has become very popular over recent years and gives you the projection benefits of a multi-speaker cab but with the small footprint of a single speaker arrangement; ideal for cramped stage environments.

Lightweight Celestion Neo Creamback Speakers

The PPC212V uses Celestions's Neo Creamback speakers which deliver a vintage-inspired tone with rich mids and smooth highs. The speakers have a neodymium magnet and are almost half the weight of traditional drivers. This gives you the same tonality and projection of a normal ceramic magnet driver but in a truly lightweight design. When you consider the size of the Orange PPC212 V, the Celestion speakers make it a remarkably lightweight unit.

Quality Construction

Orange has been manufacturing amps and cabs for over 50 years and know how to make a quality unit. The PPC212V is constructed from 15mm birch plywood with an open-back design to reduce weight. The open-back construction also gives this cab a wonderful 'airy' sound with increased horizontal projection for more room interactivity. The cab is finished in Orange's hard-wearing vinyl and has a rugged grill cloth. The corners are protected with metal caps and side-mounted carry handles make transportation a simple task.

The Perfect Balance

Vertical configuration cabinets give you the vertical projection of a 4x12, the stage footprint of a 1x12, and the multi-speaker benefits of a 2x12 (increased tonal response and width). When these features are combined with neodymium-loaded drivers, the result is a lightweight cabinet with no compromise.
