Dreadnought Body

Taylor have refined the classic Dreadnought shape to suit their own needs, producing low-end power, a snappy midrange, and strong, clear treble notes. Whilst still offering the powerful tones that you would normally get from a dreadnought, the redesigned-take provides the essence of the balanced Taylor sound. With a blend of power and articulation, this dreadnought acoustic is perfect for flatpickers, as well as players who love the traditional guitar shape and tones.

Venetian Cutaway

The Venetian Cutaway is renowned for its soft, round lines, creating a visually stunning look that is recognisable on any body. This type of cutaway allows easier access to the upper frets for a comfortable play, and enables you with more freedom throughout the fingerboard.

Sitka Spruce & Sapele

The Taylor guitar features a beautiful sitka spruce top that offers a broad dynamic range and a crisp articulation. Sitka spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops as it generates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking. This stunning tonewood is contrasted with sapele back and sides, which delivers a consistent and balanced tone with an excellent top-end shimmer. This stunning combination of tonewoods not only provides you with a beautiful guitar, but also offers a great combination of tones.

Unique Bracing Pattern

A significant factor behind the incredible sound of the 310ce is the forward shifted bracing pattern, which allows the tonewoods to vibrate naturally, creating incredible depth and complexity. The 'x' in the bracing pattern is moved closer to the soundhole, enabling more of the guitar top to vibrate, delivering maximum tonal quality and projection.

The Perfect Guitar Neck

For ultimate playability and peace of mind, the 310ce guitar features Taylor's unique NT neck design. The NT neck was designed to give players a straighter, more stable guitar neck, resistant to common problems such as changes in humidity. The neck sits in a custom fit pocket along with laser-cut spacers. There's a perfect neck angle for each Taylor guitar, and these precision spacers create it. Best of all, because there is no glue used in the NT neck design, maintenance and adjustments can be made by trained technicians in a matter of minutes.
