Warwick have opted for swamp ash for the body of this bass. As a tonewood you can expect a lot of similarities with the popular ash body. With swamp ash you get a slightly wider spectrum. However, whilst this tonewood is similar to ash, it provides your tone with fuller response toward the midrange of frequencies, whilst still keeping ash's distinct brightness. Because of this, the GPS Corvette bass is versatile and can suit many styles.
