Perfect performance every time. The wood which was chosen for the AB10's body is known for its warmth and feel when it vibrates. Mahogany works incredibly well when it comes to bringing out this acoustic bass's natural bass and treble frequencies, so your instrument will sound smooth whilst keeping enough bite to keep your licks sharp.
Even more mahogany. The neck of the AB10 is also made from mahogany, helping that low end to shine even more and making each note you play sound more prominent. This is further complemented by a spruce top, which helps to bring some volume and clarity to your tone. Combined with a black walnut fretboard and cutaway body, you'll have no trouble flying around the neck whilst producing some seriously fat bass sounds.
Beef it Up
Don't be afraid to plug this in. The EQ4T preamp system (which also has a handy built-in tuner) and piezo bridge pickup have your back when it comes to amplifying your AB10. The preamp incorporates cutting edge technology to help you sound great when you're plugged in to an amplifier, so you can play with determination without having to worry about losing your awesome tone.
There's also a four band EQ panel which puts the reins of tonal control firmly in your hands. Bass, mid and treble dials allow you to dial in the frequencies which you most want to hear coming from the AB10, with an added phase control to add some additional flavour. This is the ideal acoustic bass for live performance, with patented slots in the bass's design also helping to reduce any annoying feedback which could hamper your performance.
