A sound for every occasion. The range of acoustic options offered by the THR30IIA Wireless Amp is staggering. Of the five individual tones, three feature meticulously modelled microphone profiles, with your choice dynamic, condenser and tube mics. For classical guitar players, there's a dedicated nylon string mode, or choose 'flat' to let your guitar's natural tone do the talking.
And all this is before we even begin to adjust the Yamaha's powerful three-band EQ section, complete with a wet/dry tone blend knob, allowing you to mix just the right amount of your guitar's pure output with the affected signal. Dial in your dream tone.
Set the scene. Amplified acoustic guitars can sometimes sound dry and unnatural. Not with the THR30IIA, which features a range of integrated digital effects, so you can design the mood of any room.
Choose from a thick, chiming chorus, a flexible delay, complete with tap-tempo button, or a blend of the two - all with the turn of a single knob. Then add in your choice of short or long-tail reverb to let your picks and strums settle in or stand out in any environment - the choice is yours.
Go wide. The Yamaha THR30IIA features an intuitive Stereo Image switch, which sends your guitar signal right out to the edges of the stereo field for optimum ambience. Working with the combo amp's twin 3.5" speakers, the normal, wide or wider modes give you precise stereo control of your guitar signal, without affecting the microphone input, so your vocal stays front-and-centre.
From the stage to the studio. Be your sound engineer's best friend, thanks to the THR30IIA's stereo jack outputs. Simply connect from the rear 1/4" jack connectors to the mixing desk or recording interface, for instant stereo guitar goodness, retaining your choice of imaging settings, tone and effects.
