Developed by Yamaha, the advanced YST II - Yamaha Active Servo Technology - combines negative-impedance and constant-current principles to drive the speaker cone with incredibly tight control. By utilising Advanced Negative Impedance Converter (ANIC) circuits in addition to the YST II, this system dynamically optimises effective speaker impedance to maintain excellent linearity - resulting in more stable and accurate low range responses, as well as higher quality sound.
All-New 12'' Woofer
To achieve long-stroke drive with superior linearity, the NSSW1000 uses a 12'' woofer unit with a strong, flexible drive system that features double layer ferrite magnets and a double damper with an air vent. This design makes it possible for the driver to reproduce even the smallest, most delicate tonal nuances.
Twisted Flare Port
The flared, gently twisted port diffuses the vortex of air generated around the edge of the port, creating a smooth flow of air. This smooth flow reduces unwanted noise and provides clear, accurate low frequency reproduction. Everything from special effect sounds in movies to the atmosphere of a live venue, the NSSW1000 delivers clear, tight and realistic bass.
