The slim YAS-101 features Air Surround Xtreme which delivers 7.1-channel surround sound at a higher quality than any other soundbar. You'll experience an extremely realistic and impressive sound field, with clear dialogue in the front and dynamic sound action at the back and sides.

The Saran Net Grille protecting the speaker allows unimpeded sound flow - this makes all sounds, including vocals and music, clear and pleasant to listen to. The unique UniVolume feature maintains the same volume level - developed by Yamaha to maintain a consistent volume level between different channels, programs, commercials and input sources. This means no more quiet programs and extremely loud adverts! You can switch this feature off if you wish.

With a total output of 120W, create a cinematic experience in your living room by filling the space with high-grade sound. The YAS-101 combines two 2.5" cone speakers with a dual-driver subwoofer, driven by a digital amp. Although compact, its excellent structural design provides a large volume enclosure for both the speakers and subwoofer.

Experience wonderful bass reproduction with the YAS-101 dual-driver subwoofer. Its large-diameter voice coils and large magnets create dynamic and robust bass sounds. This ensures that the overall sound has a rich sense of presence, making movie effects sound more realistic. The bass reflex port provides outstanding bass response together with the large volume cabinet and straight shape. Wind noise is reduced with the trumpet bell shaped duct outlet, increasing sound clarity.

The YAS-101 is compatible with popular surround sound formats, such as Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround, so you get the full effect of multi-channel movie sound. The Clear Voice feature raises the level of dialogue and narrations while maintaining overall sound quality. This makes voices more clearly audible such as in movies, tv shows, sports commentary and news broadcasts.

The YSA-101 also comes with Audio Delay Control (Lip Sync) which adjusts the timing of the picture and diaglog so there is no delay and dialog matches with moving imagery. Create an even more powerful bass sound by connecting an additional subwoofer through the Subwoofer Out Jack.

With a height of only 4.5", the YSA-101 can be easily positioned in front of a TV, and will look perfect alongside the latest flat screens with it's rich, glossy black finish. If your tv is wall mounted or you are limited on space, the compact soundbar can also be hung on a wall. Even if the YAS-101 blocks the TV's remote control signal, the IR flasher on the back transmits the signal to the TV so operation is not affectd. You can also connect your TV remote control to the soundbar and use it to turn on and off and adjust volume levels. The YAS-101 also comes with it's own remote which is easy to use for basic functions of the soundbar.
