Built For Beginners
The features found in the Casio CTK-3400 are ideal for those wanting to learn the piano. The learning system built into the CTK-3400 allows beginners to split songs into individual sections for more precise practice. Each section can be practised and perfected before putting them back together into a complete piece. The CTK-3400 has a metronome which is useful for keeping in time a learning a new piece. The metronome can beat in 0, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 and can range from 30 to 255 beats per minute (BPM).
High-Quality Sounds
The keyboard features high-quality sounds which are pre-programmed digital samples of real musical instruments. The outputted sound changes depending on the amount of pressure applied to the keys, just like a real piano. These touch sensitive keys allow for richly expressive performances. The CTK-3400 has 200 tones built-in to the keyboard, including pianos, strings, horns, guitars and synths. Having a wide range of sounds to play with is perfect for teaching the basics of texture and polyphony. There are also 126 rhythms in the CLK-3400 which include rhythms associated with rock, latin, jazz and ballads.

That's why at the rear of the 3400 keyboard there is a standard quarter-inch jack to insert a pair of headphones.
