The 16 large-sized performance pads are ideal for everything from finger drumming to inputting melodies with different sounds. This all-in-one groovebox gives you the ability to make music on the move, giving you the ability to collaborate with friends, jam, practise and perform live on stage. The XW-PD1 features a wide range of controls and parameters including a synthesizer, a sequencer, a sampler and more. It also includes a wide range of controls including pads, knobs and sliders. The highly intuitive and ergonomic layout gives you everything you need to play and perform wherever you go. The Casio Trackformer XW-PD1 can also be used as a MIDI controller to control sounds within your favourite DAW and more. Its portable design is complemented by its battery powered operation and built-in speaker, eliminating the need for external equipment and power supplies.

Step Sequence Keys

One of the most unique features of the XW-PD1 is Sequence Step Keys which provides you with a lit up visual representation of your rhythm pattern. The rotating lights give you the ability to create your own original beats by tapping out rhythms on the performance pads. The easy-to-use interface provides you with the means to lay down melodies over your rhythm patterns on the fly, allowing you to build on your drums to create unique tracks.

High-Quality Sounds & Effects

The XW-PD1 also comes complete with a wide range of effects, 200 in total, allowing you to transform your patterns and sounds for added depth and flare. The effects range from Delays and Reverbs to Choruses as well as Stereo Imager and Maximizer master effects to truly take control of your patterns and sounds. The built-in effects allow you to do everything from create hard-hitting drops to adding a subtle echo to snares and more. The XW-PD1 comes complete with a wide range of premium-quality sounds designed by professional musicians and producers. You can also remix you favourite tracks and manipulate your own music library by connecting the XW-PD1 to a smartphone or audio player via a mixing console. This adds a new level to your production, allowing you to take samples or remix songs with ease. You can also jam with other electronic instruments thanks to the line in connection that lets you connect things like electric keyboards and more.
