The Acoustic Projection and discretely placed multiple speakers project the piano's various sound elements from their natural positions, creating that enveloping acoustic piano sound.

Ebony and Ivory Look and Feel

The Roland LX-15e is comfortable to play, with keys specially designed to feel like an acoustic piano, with the look and feel of ebony and ivory and moisture-absorbing properties to ensure your fingers won't slide off. You can create your perfect sound with the on board Piano Designer, allowing you to adjust string resonance, soundboard behaviour and so on until the piano sounds exactly how you like it. Also featuring the new Individual Note Voicing feature lets you adjust the pitch, level, and tonal character independently for all 88 notes.

Record and Playback

One of the great benefits of using a digital piano is that you can use the on board recorder, allowing you easily to listen to what you just played, highlighting areas for improvement. You can also practice to your hearts content without disturbing other people with the new Headphones 3D Ambience effect, enabling you to enjoy the sound field of an acoustic piano during private sessions.

Wireless Connectivity

You can wirelessly connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your Roland digital piano, either display the piano's built in songs via the iPad's screen, learn to identify the different notes by ear or stream your favourite tunes from your iPhone through the piano's speaker system. This feature is great for making practice more fun and helping you improve.

Progressive Damper Action Pedal

The Progressive Damper Action pedal accurately replicates the damper pedal on an acoustic piano. It features the continuous tactile response that experienced players expect, with light resistance when the pedal is first pressed and more resistance as the damper function begins to take effect. This allows for more intuitive control while playing, along with "half-pedal" techniques for subtle control over sustain and resonance.

Dynamic Harmonic Feature

You can adjust the unique overtone characteristics created with fortissimo playing thanks to the Dynamic Harmonic feature. This will give you a whole new palette of tonal colours to explore as the strength of your key touch improves, or if you're an experienced player, will give you deep expressive control.
