Virtual Technician Sound Customisation

The Concert Artist CA97 also features Kawai's innovative Virtual Technician technology, which allows you to shape the tonal characteristics of your sound to suit your needs. This feature offers various adjustable settings including voicing and regulation; string, damper and cabinet resonances; subtle hammer, damper and key release noises, and even the precise tuning and volume of individual notes. With the ability to store personalised configurations to memory, the Virtual Technician feature enables you to customise your instrument's character to achieve the piano sound you've always dreamed of.

Dynamic Response with Grand Feel II Wooden Key Action

The CA97 utilises Kawai's Grand Feel II wooden-key keyboard action, which emulates the distinctive smooth and responsive feel of playing a real acoustic grand piano. Crafted from long pieces of wood pivoting on a central balance pin, each of the CA97's keys throws a metal hammer when pressed, much like the action of a genuine acoustic piano. The hammers are all carefully micro-engineered to ensure perfect balance, and are graded in size and weight to provide a heavier response on the bass notes and a lighter touch at the treble end. The CA97 features triple-sensor technology, which accurately measures the forward and backward movements of each hammer for a supremely realistic playing experience.

Delivery Options

Standard Courier Delivery

When you add this product to your shopping basket, you will be provided with our standard courier delivery option. This will deliver the piano to the ground floor of your house or building. Please note that if there is not a ground floor entrance we may not be able to deliver there. You may also need to help the delivery driver as this product comes packaged in large boxes.

This option may not be suitable if you are unable to help the driver if required, or if you need the piano delivering upstairs. Please consider whether this is the most appropriate delivery service for you, as other delivery options are available at an additional cost.

2 Man Delivery Service

If you select this option, two delivery personnel will deliver the piano boxes to any ground floor room of your choice, rather than just your front door. Please note that this service will take a few days longer than the standard courier service and the courier company will call you to arrange a convenient delivery date after you have placed the order.
