When you think of JUNO, the thing that comes to mind is its legendary sound. Responsible for a litany of hits across the two decades of its golden age. Whilst its sound may be placed firmly in the eighties, the sonic character permeates into the modern musical canon by providing a vintage twist on today's hyper produced songwriting.
If you crave a sound that helps you stand out from the crowd then this classic sonic profile can be easily obtained through the excellent JU-06A. The look, sound, and features of the legendary JUNO-06 and the JUNO-106 can now sit atop your studio's desk - ready to inject some retro goodness into your music projects.
Bringing together two of Roland's greatest synthesizers - the JU-06 and JUNO-106 - the JU-06A provides you with the means to truly invoke their vintage sound. It features the continuous high pass filter, the envelope controllable pulse-width-modulation, the unique filter behaviour, all controlled from a compact main panel. Streamlined and easier to use than ever. The sound of the JU-06A is almost identical to its forebears, even when pushing the parameters into the outer reaches of exploratory sound design.
As previously stated, the JU-06A features all the great tools that set the JUNO apart. It features both the arpeggio from the JUNO-60 and the filter JUNO-106 - two iconic functionalities. If that's not enough, the JU-06A throws in a chord memory and an onboard sequencer. Making it incredibly easy to perform with the JU-06A the way you want to - whether that's on stage or in the studio.
Works with just about anything you want it to. It features USB audio/MIDI and MIDI jacks. It also features an external clock input meaning you can sync up with a range of vintage equipment or even modern Eurorack systems. As well as being convenient it also gives the synthesizer a life of its own, providing unexpected phrases, rhythmic variations, and a whole range of organic outputs.
