NWX Keyboard

Musicians need to perform at their highest ability and the feel of the CLP 645's NWX allows the performer to feel just that. Made from a specially dried wood, the key provides a classic response that is both comfortable for the performer and is sensitive to all styles of music. With a weighted feel to the keys, each register gets progressively lighter, thus creating the feel of an acoustic piano. The escapement mechanism replicates the sound when each key is depressed in the lower third of each key and therefore you can because familiar with the response to each individual key for a more expressive, intricate performance.

Piano Samples

Yamaha's individual sound takes samples from two of the world's leading pianos - the Yamaha CFX and the Bosendorfer Imperial Grand Pianos. The CFX is known as he most appreciated concert grand pianos and the Bosendorfer as the world's finest acoustic instrument. Amalgamating these two prestigious sounds, the samples provde a truely authentic piano sound. Each key is individually recorded and sampled before being tuned with each other and so performances should be as authentic as possible and so combine acoustic expression and digital convenience.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth technology has now been incorporated into the Yamaha Clavinova and therefore opens up a new world of apps go enhance your experience. The easy set-up will allow you to connect your smartphone or tablet to a series of bespoke apps such as Chord Tracker which analyses your favourite songs and calculates the chords and displaying them for you to play. The sound Controller app gives you the opportunity to finely adjust the settings to the different voices on the piano. Using the range of apps available, you can record your performances and track progress and even access sheet music on your device. This functionality is perfect for thise who want to develop further and also for the advanced musician wanting to finely hone their performance skills.

VRM Physical Modelling

Virtual Resonance Modelling has been employed to optimise the resonance of the CLP 645. Acoustically, when the inividual hammer hits a string, the nearby strings also vibrate and provide warmth and colour to the note. The VRM technology helps to replicate this digitally and also adds an appropriate amount of decay to each note to give a more acoustic feel with textured tones and therefore removes any unnatural breaks in the sound.

Binaural Sampling Technology

Binaural Sampling Technology has been developed to give the performr a more immersive concert grand experience. When the samples have been recorded, the microphones also stored location information and other minute details so all this information helps to replicate a more authenic sound which feels more natural - even with headphones, so much so, you will forget you are wearing headphones at all. with the Yamaha CFX sound selected and headphones inserted, the binaural sound is instantly activated. You can now enjoy a concert grand experience at home, even with your headphones on.

Delivery

Standard Courier Delivery

When you add this product to your shopping basket, you will be provided with our standard courier delivery option. This will deliver the piano to the front door on the ground floor of your house or building. This service will not deliver the piano into your home. *Please note that if there is not a ground floor entrance we may not be able to deliver there. You may also need to help the delivery driver as this product comes packaged in large boxes. This may not be suitable if you are unable to help the driver if required, or if you need the piano delivering upstairs. Please consider whether this is the most appropriate delivery service for you, as other delivery options are available at an additional cost.

2 Man Delivery Service

The delivery personnel will deliver the piano to a ground room floor of your choice, rather than just the front door. Please note that this service will take a few days longer than the standard courier. If you would require a 2 man delivery service, please contact us on 0330 365 4444 for further information.

Delivery and Installation Service

This service can be arranged on an ad-hoc basis via a specialist piano delivery company. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed until we have made arrangements with the delivery company.
