The Yamaha YPT-230 Portable Keyboard comes with a huge library of instrument sounds. Choose from 385 different voices, including pianos, strings, organs, synths, guitars and even drum kits. You can experiment with sounds to suit all kinds of music, along with 100 accompaniment styles from virtually every genre, while pressing the "Portable Grand" button instantly returns you to a classic, natural sounding stereo grand piano voice. The keyboard is also equipped with a variety of stunning Reverb and Ultra Wide Stereo effects, allowing you to add incredible depth and concert hall ambience to your sound.
Yamaha Education Suite 6
The YPT-230 also features the Yamaha Education Suite (Y.E.S.) Version 6 lesson function, which allows learners of every level to practice at their own pace. The keyboard's Lesson function offers nine lesson modes for each of its 102 built-in songs - three for the left hand, three for the right, and three for both hands. These include a "Listen & Learn" mode; a "Timing" function to focus on playing in time to the rhythmic accompaniment; and a "Waiting" mode, where the song playback tempo continuously varies to match the speed of your performance.
