The TF series combines Yamaha know-how with new input from the field and the latest touch-screen technology to deliver an evolved experience in console operation. Smooth setup and operation, practical presets and scenes, refined design and software applications that integrate seamlessly with the entire system. These new elements comprise TouchFlow Operation, a new concept in console interfaces that offers unprecedented comfort and convenience in small consoles.

Allowing most operations to be carried out via the touch panel alone, the innovative TF series interface will quickly become second nature to a wide range of users. Whether you have experience with Yamaha digital consoles, work with other consoles, or have never operated a mixer before, TF consoles will leave you to the desired results quickly and effortlessly. The availability of physical controls surrounding the touch panel further enhance control versatility and precision. The display content has been specifically designed for easy, direct accessibility, with a layout that promotes that most natural and efficient mixing. Touch panel operation is as easy as shaping the sound with your fingertips.

1-knob compressor and EQs - great sound in seconds

Take the hassle out of your mixes with 1-knob effects. Get ideal EQ shapes and compressor settings without having to get every single parameter right. Just turn one knob and tame a rowdy channel, get the snap back into a snare, or bring out a vocal in the mix. Whatever your compression or EQ needs - do it the easy way. You can choose from preset EQ curves to control with the 1-knob, or set up your own.

QuickPro presets - pro sound at your fingertips

You might not always have time to set up your channels perfectly and optimise every parameter for a new piece of equipment. That's where the QuickPro presets come in. A bank of 200 presets is available for your input channels which have been designed by Yamaha in collaboration with world-renowned sound engineers and microphone manufacturers.

On the input channels you'll get presets for a variety of sound sources from vocals, to drums and everything in between. With design input from the likes of Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, and Shure, you can be certain the presets will sound great with your mics. The output presets are designed to cater to a variety of sound systems, in ear monitors, and rooms.

Is a preset not quite right? No problem! The QuickPro presets also make a great starting point for your mixes. Start off with a preset and then make small tweaks to get it sounding just right for your sound sources and room.

Dedicated StageMix™ and MonitorMix™ Apps

The Yamaha TF StageMix™ app allows you to intuitively control the TF Rack from anywhere in the venue. The StageMix visually replicates the TouchFlow's panels, and provides you with controls that act instantly to your mix. You can also directly connect your iPad to the TF Rack via USB which delivers extended, more interactive features and displays. The StageMix™ application is compatible with the iPad 2 onwards, and the first generation iPad Mini onwards.

The Yamaha MonitorMix™ is a bespoke app that creates your own individual monitoring system directly on your iPhone. The app features level and panning controls for each aux bus, allowing you to produce monitor mixes that are tailored to your individual requirements. The MonitorMix™ app can also be used to create customised group settings that control a variety of inputs, such as an entire drum kit, with one simple fader. This application is compatible with iPhone 4 models and onwards.
