The 7050B Subwoofer features a range of premium-quality components that culminate to deliver exceptional audio quality with a powerful low-end response. This compact subwoofer unit features a 8'' driver and a built-in 70W amplifier for maximum performance value, delivering a high volume output that retains its clarity even on the highest settings. Its compact yet powerful performance means its ideal for a range of applications from music studios to portable recording systems and more. The extended frequency response ranges from 25-85Hz plus a maximum SPL of 100dB. Combined with the 70W amplifier and the 8'' driver, the 7050B subwoofer delivers a dominant bass response that can be pushed to the limit. The subwoofer can work both as a stand-alone unit as well as complimenting a pair of 8020A or 8030A monitors from Genelec.
The highly efficient Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE) technology delivers accurate low frequency reproduction, thanks to it bass reflex cabinet. The cabinet features a unique curvilinear shaped enclosure that provides exceptional laminar flow characteristics with minimal noise and distortion, allowing the cabinet to pack a long reflex tube into a small space. The spiral-shaped design result in a rigid enclosure exterior allowing air to flow freely in and out of the enclosures interior. The design and implementation of this technology results in a highly accurate and responsive low-end that produces a smooth sounding flow.
The rear of the subwoofer features 5 XLR inputs and outputs, allowing you to connect a range of equipment including speakers and monitors. There is also an XLR input for LFE channel featuring 85/120 Hz reproduction bandwidth selection, allowing the system to fulfill the low frequency needs of a 5.1 system.
One of the most unique features of the 7050B is the Room Response Correction technology integrated within the subwoofer itself. This precise room response compensation allows you to optimise the subwoofers performance to any room or space. The room response adjustments works to compensate for different room influences, delivering a flat frequency response at the listening positions. The 7050B provides you with a range of controls that you can edit and tweak to compensate for the space you are in. The 7050B features a bass roll-off feature which caters the low-ends frequency response to the space its in, in relation to the listening position.
