The LCT 140 is a compact 2/3-inch back-electret condenser microphone featuring a linear frequency response and a wide dynamic range. This pencil condenser microphone provides exceptional audio fidelity thanks to off-axis rejection and cardioid polar pattern. This versatile small-diaphragm condenser microphone delivers clear and natural sound, thanks to its premium-grade components and construction. The result is optimal transparency and distortion-free sound.

Ideal For Drums, Percussion & Acoustic Instruments

The exceptional clarity and transparent sound, combined with the premium-grade components makes the LCT 140 ideal for a range of recording applications. From drum overheads to capturing percussive sounds and more, the LCT 140 boasts exceptional attention to detail, providing a superior sound. The body of the microphone features two switchable modes. The first mode is a three-position switch for toggling the built-in pad settings. The pad settings are comprised of 0db, -10dB and -20dB, allowing you to cater to any recording environment or instrument. There is also a range of low-cut settings, including: linear, 40hz and 300Hz, ideal for removing low-end rumble as well as for drum overheads, where you just require the top end for cymbals and other hardware.

Design & Construction

The robust yet sleek body on the microphone, is highly durable and roadworthy; making it ideal for both studio and live applications. The body of the microphone features an illuminated interface, perfect for low-light environments and studio work. The LED display can also be switched off, should you need to for added convenience. The bottom of the microphone features a gold-plated 3-pin XLR connection for optimal signal integrity. Additionally, the microphone comes complete with a range of accessories including a windscreen, microphone clip and a zippered leatherette bag for storing and transporting your microphone.
