The STC-3X features a one-inch, gold-sputtered large diaphragm in a large open grille for optimal recording capabilities. Combined with the wide frequency range, the Sontronics STC-3X can capture every nuance of your source material as it was intended, paramount for studio-grade recordings. Also featured is an integrated high pass filter and attenuation pad for catering to different applications, allowing you to record a multitude of different audio sources with ease. The condenser microphone comes complete with a free shock-mount, popshield, connection cable and protective pouch for added convenience, allowing you to get setup and started within minutes.
Versatile Recording Applications
The Sontronics STC-3X features 3 selectable pickup patterns for versatile recording applications, allowing you to cater to a range of audio sources. The Cardioid pickup pattern is ideal for capturing vocal performances, picking up sound from directly in front of the microphone for studio-grade vocals. The omnidirectional pickup pattern is more suited to ambient recordings and use for overheads, picking up everything around the microphone for added depth. The figure-of-eight pickup pattern is ideal for duets and interviews, eliminating the sides of the microphone and picking up sound from either side of the capsule. The selectable pickup patterns are also suited to both instrument and vocal recordings for added versatility, allowing you to record virtually any source with optimal audio quality.
Sontronics STC-10 Condenser Mic
Affordable High Quality Mic
STC-10 is a pencil-style cardioid condenser microphone. It has been designed using the same technology as Sontronics' existing pencil condenser mics, but has purposely been introduced to create an even more affordable option in the Sontronics range.
Pencil condenser microphones are ideal for spot miking applications and the STC-10 is no exception. Early tests have proved it to be a winner when used on drums, percussion and acoustic instruments. The STC-10 has also proved useful in film production work when used on a boom. Although the STC-10 has been designed with affordability in mind, it still features a built-in attentuation switch (choose 0dB or -10dB) and a low-cut filter (75Hz) to make it extremely flexible in all situations. The STC-10 is supplied with a simple mic clip and a foam windshield to prevent sibilance.Features
