Tascam VL-S3 3 Inch Active Monitor Speakers, Pair Overview

The Tascam VL-S3 3 Inch Active Monitor Speakers are 2-way powered monitors featuring a 3'' woofer with rear panel functionality. The 14W per side stereo power amplifier (located in the left speaker) is used to power the monitors, delivering exceptional audio quality at high levels. The pair of RCA inputs featured on the rear-side of the monitors accept any line-level input, and there is a stereo 1/4'' to RCA cable included. You can also play music from your smartphone or your MP3 player with a 1/8'' stereo mini jack. The compact design of the cabinets mean they can be placed pretty much anywhere, from desktop to stands and more. The VL-S3 also features a bass reflex port for added low-end response, providing thick, punchy low-frequencies. Volume controls have also been integrated for added convenience. Compact Yet Powerful

The VL-S3s have been designed to be compact and powerful, with the cabinets standing at 4.5'' x 6.7'' each, making them ideal for a range of environments. From desktops to being sat next your laptop or PC, the VL-S3 eliminates the need for space-consuming speaker stands. The 3'' woofer provides exceptional low-end response, delivering a thick, punchy bass reflex. As well as the woofer there is a 0.5'' tweeter, providing clarity and power for the high-end frequency range. There is also a bass reflex port for added integrity when it comes to the bass signal, this ensures optimum performance from the lower frequencies.

Built-In Power Amplifier

The 14 Watts per channel built-in power amplifier have been designed specifically for desktop system providing you with powerful, full volume monitoring. As well as being powerful at full volume, the amplifier provides balanced sound even at lower levels. The VL-S3s have been developed to work well even in areas where excessive noise is apparent such as dorm rooms or apartments.
