To ensure your new trumpet can keep up with day-to-day activities, Conn Selmer have purposefully chosen quality materials for the TR510. To make sure your tone is always rounded and pleasant, the TR510 is made from yellow brass. Yellow brass is a common material that is frequently found on brass instruments of all shapes and sizes. This is mostly due to the versatile tone that it produces so well.
Similar to professional trumpets, the valves in the TR510 are crafted from monel. Monel is a nickel and copper alloy that is used by the majority of premium instruments. This is because monel valves are very dense and are more resistant to corrosion, meaning they won't flake and are less likely to seize up.
To ensure you can start learning the basics of tuning, the TR510 student trumpet features a first slide saddle and third slide tuning ring. These smooth slides are perfect for making minor adjustments to help tune with those around you. All of these features come together to produce a trumpet that is worthy of any beginner player.
