Highlighting a unique design, the YEV104 has a Möbius strip like composition that provides a continuity between the front and back. The instrument's striking three dimensional form is sure to turn heads as it enhances the natural beauty of the woods and materials used.
With built in piezo-electric pickup, the YEV104 captures the instrument's response and expressive bowing nuances employed by yourself as you perform. The added selector switch alternates between direct output of the pickup signal and output via the instrument's volume control. Direct output delivers the instrument's full sonic potential with rich lows and a punchy impact.
Select Tonewoods
Resulting in excellent response and a natural sound, carefully selected maple with mahogany and spruce are joined in a 5 layer construction. For extra durability with life on the road, the added 5 layer oil-finished walnut frame offers an ideal blend of flexibility and strength.
